I started making jewelry when I was working at the Maritime Aquarium in South Norwalk. Right across the street from the aquarium is a beading shop. I went into the shop at my lunch hour; at first, it was to look, then I started buying beads and making jewelry for myself.

I found that it was a great way to express myself. I was already someone who loved drawing and painting, and creating jewelry was a way to create a piece of artwork you could wear.

The more I learned about different beading techniques, the more I got hooked. I started making jewelry for family and close friends. Every time I gave away a piece, I would get the same reaction “You should really be selling your work”  I finally took the advice of my family and friends and started selling my jewelry first at art shows, which gave me great connections to put my jewelry in local shops such as  Greenwich Exchange, and I am premiering this online shop!

All my jewelry is made from the heart. I hope everyone enjoys wearing it as much as I enjoy making it.
